African technology ecosystem is raising. We are observing more venture capitals these years. According to Qz, African startups rose a total of $1.3 billion in funding. In 2015, only $200 million were invested. The top countries where there are more investments are Kenya and Nigeria with 81.5% of the total investment received in 2019. Not to forget Egypt which has doubled its investment growth last year, while South Africa recorded a noticeable decline. Technology companies and fintech are the sectors that received more investment. As examples, Two new companies, Opay and PalmPay opened in Nigeria, jointly receiving $210million from Chinese investments.
